HOW WE WORK

OVC began as a consultancy helping startups to scale. The gap between what a Founder needs and what a Founder can afford can feel insurmountable. Office Hours and the Studio model were designed to create support that goes beyond a check. Both programs are focused primarily on Founders that are firmly under-resourced and under-represented in Venture Capital.



OFfice Hours

Ideation sessions with the OVC team. We see many more deals than we can invest in. We use Office Hours to help Founders remove roadblocks, offer introductions to our network or to help evolve a growth strategy.



sTUDIO MODEL

The Studio concept is designed to prepare a Founder for their first capital raise. OVC works with Founders in the studio to validate product-market fit, GTM strategy and a path to revenue.



Capital Investment

OVC invests in startups from Seed to Series A, primarily in wellbeing, food and beverage and consumer tech. We look for passionate Founders with a deep understanding of the customer and community that they serve.

Kim is a strategy and operations professional with a deep expertise in leading digital transformations and launching new products to market. She started her career as a management consultant and served most recently as both COO to a fitness startup and as an advisor to a variety of startup founders. As a startup advisor and independent consultant to larger brands including Headspace and Tonal, Kim has worked across all stages from seed to pre-IPO on new product development, go -to-market planning and execution and distribution strategies. As a General Manager and COO, Kimberley has experience across the product lifecycle from supply chain and product development to marketing and sales. This makes her uniquely adept at solution building for businesses as they scale.
